When I first thought about FYL, it started with something very small…
A simple thought:
"One day, I want my children to truly know me."
Not just through photographs.
Not just through old messages.
Not just as "Dad."
But as a human being.
What I believed in.
What I learned in life.
What mistakes I made.
What dreams I carried.
How much I loved them — even during the ordinary days when life felt too busy to say it properly.
As parents, family members, friends…
we carry thousands of thoughts in our hearts every single day.
Sometimes we want to tell our children something important…
but they are too young to understand it today.
Sometimes we want to encourage them before a big moment in life.
Sometimes we want to leave behind stories they can listen to years later.
Sometimes we want our loved ones to hear our voice on a specific day, at a specific moment.
But life moves fast.
Moments pass.
Conversations get postponed.
Feelings remain unsaid.
And I kept wondering…
What if memories, thoughts, and emotions didn't have to disappear with time?
What if I could record a message for my child today…
and they receive it years later, exactly when they need it most?
Maybe on their first day at college.
Maybe before their wedding.
Maybe on a difficult day when they need strength.
Maybe on a birthday years from now.
Or maybe just on an ordinary morning when they miss hearing your voice.
That idea stayed in my heart for a long time.
And slowly…
FYL was born.
FYL — For You Later — is not just an app.
It is a space for love that waits patiently.
A place where memories are not lost in old phones or forgotten folders.
A place where your voice, your feelings, your stories, and your thoughts can reach the people you love at the right moment.
Not for likes.
Not for followers.
Not for the internet.
Just for the people who matter to you.
Your children.
Your partner.
Your parents.
Your friends.
Even your future self.
Because some words deserve better timing.
Some emotions deserve to arrive gently.
And some memories deserve to live forever.
I built FYL with one hope:
That years from now, people won't just remember each other through pictures…
They'll hear each other.
Feel each other.
Understand each other.
And maybe someday, a child somewhere will press play on a message from their parent…
smile through tears…
and feel deeply loved.
If FYL can create even a few moments like that,
then this journey is worth everything.
